Villa Koromilies

The name of the house comes from the wild plum trees growing in the garden of the house. Every July we collect the wild plums and we consume them fresh or we make them jam and chutney to preserve them. They are served with the breakfast. The breakfast is served in the dining area with also the option of the garden in the summer months. The dining are also has a fireplace which is always lit at winter. There is also a vegetable garden and aromatic herbs are growing around the garden.



The house was renovated with the use of all the stones with which it was originally built. The renovation followed the original traditional architecture of thick stone walls and arcs at the windows. The house is found on the lower side of the village, combining a view of pure nature and a short walk to the center of the village. You can also explore the beautiful nature in front of the house taking a short or longer walk. Just below the house starts an enormous olive grove with old and new olive trees that continues until the sea.



The lawn in the lower garden is suitable for relaxing reading a book, sunbathe or practice yoga. You can sip a tea made from fresh herbs and enjoy the beautiful view of nature. For the winter months there is a hamam that can be used upon request. The summer months the temperature remains cool giving the feeling of a natural air conditioning because of the altitude of 900 m. Delphi is only a 10 minute drive and the sea is only a 25 minute drive with exquisite views while descending the mountain. Every room comes with a television and there is also free wireless internet.
